What are the good methods to treat hemorrhoids?

Speaking of hemorrhoids, it is a common disease, which can occur at any age. In China, hemorrhoids are the most common anorectal diseases. After all, there is a saying that "ten people have nine hemorrhoids".

There are two main theories about the etiology of hemorrhoids. The first is varicose vein theory. Because people walk upright, the pressure in the rectal vein in the upright position is significantly higher than that in other positions, and because there is no venous valve in the rectal vein to prevent blood backflow, it is relatively difficult for blood backflow, resulting in varicose veins in the long run. This is not only the biological basis of hemorrhoids, but also one of the imperfect manifestations of human upright walking evolution. The other is the theory that the anal pad moves down. One theory holds that "hemorrhoids" is the anal pad, which is originally the normal anatomical structure of the anal canal. Only when the anal pad tissue is abnormal and combined with symptoms can it be called hemorrhoids and need treatment.

There are many predisposing factors for hemorrhoids, among which constipation or long-term bad defecation habits, long-term drinking, eating a lot of stimulating food and sitting for a long time are the main predisposing factors. Only from these aspects can we better prevent or reduce the symptoms of hemorrhoids.

First, diet prevention. Avoid spicy wine and overeating. Alcohol and strongly irritating food can make hemorrhoids congested and dilated, and the increase of abdominal pressure after overeating can also block the blood reflux of hemorrhoid veins and aggravate the disease.

Second, correct bad defecation habits. When defecating, reading books and looking at mobile phones will prolong defecation time, which will cause long-term compression of rectal veins and induce hemorrhoids. In addition, dry stool and excessive defecation will often cause hemorrhoids to rupture, bloody stool and pain.

Third, do a good job in perianal care and do more anal lifting exercise. Wipe gently with soft tissue or wet toilet paper after defecation. If possible, wash with warm water after defecation. Especially for patients with bloody stool, washing after defecation can avoid fecal residue, make the wound infected repeatedly and delay healing. In your spare time, you can do appropriate anal lifting exercise, shrink and relax the anus, 50 times each time, 1-2 times a day. Long term adherence can increase blood circulation, reduce pelvic congestion, improve hemorrhoid venous reflux and effectively prevent hemorrhoid recurrence. In addition, pay attention to avoid keeping the same posture for a long time, especially sitting and standing for a long time.

Although hemorrhoids are common diseases, they can't go to see a doctor until they have to be operated. In the early stage of the disease, rational drug use and improving living, eating, working and rest habits are controllable and preventable.
