Hemorrhoids (commonly known as hemorrhoids) are common diseases located in the anus, which can be found at any age. But with the increase of age, the incidence rate is increasing.
There are two main theories about the etiology of hemorrhoids.
varicose vein theory
Thomson's theory of anal pad downward movement
There are many predisposing factors for hemorrhoids, among which constipation, long-term drinking, eating a lot of stimulating food and sedentary standing are the main predisposing factors.
1. The main manifestations are bloody stool: the nature of bloody stool can be painless, intermittent, blood after defecation, blood dripping during defecation or blood on toilet paper, and aggravation after constipation, drinking or eating stimulating food.
2. Simple internal hemorrhoids: no pain, only swelling feeling, bleeding, development to prolapse, combined with thrombosis, incarceration and infection.
3. External hemorrhoids: usually without special symptoms, swelling and pain can occur when thrombosis and inflammation occur.
4. Internal hemorrhoids are divided into 4 degrees——
① Bleeding during first degree defecation, bleeding after defecation can stop automatically, and hemorrhoids do not come out of the anus;
② There is often bloody stool in grade II; Prolapse from anus during defecation and return it automatically after defecation;
③ The third degree hemorrhoids should be returned by hand after prolapse;
④ Grade IV hemorrhoids are outside the anus for a long time and cannot be returned;
Among them, internal hemorrhoids above grade II mostly form mixed hemorrhoids, which is manifested by the simultaneous presence of symptoms of internal hemorrhoids and external hemorrhoids, and there may be pain, discomfort and pruritus. Pruritus is often due to the outflow of viscous secretions when hemorrhoids prolapse.More recommended
