It is often caused by constipation. When dry stool passes through the anus, excessive pulling of the anal skin will tear the anal folds, causing infection, inflammation, edema, and fibrous tissue hyperplasia. After the inflammation is cleared, the folds cannot return to normal. Such multiple injuries will make the fold hypertrophy and become an external hemorrhoid. Various inflammations of the anus and rectum, such as proctitis, internal hemorrhoids, and anal sinusitis, are also causes of connective tissue external hemorrhoids. In addition, anal surgery, due to improper operations such as skin cutting, suture, ligation, etc., will also affect the anal lymphatic and blood return, often causing connective tissue external hemorrhoids

External hemorrhoids of connective tissue, no inflammation, the patient only feels a foreign body sensation locally or the anus is not easy to clean after defecation; if there is inflammation, it will feel pain, sitting, standing, walking inconvenience. At first, folds are enlarged, the skin is dark red, and the epidermis is peeled off; due to repeated inflammation, the skin outside the anus is protruding, soft, and yellow in color, often on the posterior midline of the anus, and sometimes also in front of or on both sides of the anus.
Inflammatory external hemorrhoids: often caused by skin damage and infection at the anal margin. The wrinkled walls of the anal margin skin protrude like blisters. Swelling and pain are obvious. Thrombotic external hemorrhoids: The anal venous plexus is ruptured, blood leaks out of the blood vessels, and thrombus is formed and raised under the skin. It is characterized by sudden onset, local swelling and severe pain. Varicose external hemorrhoids: The subcutaneous varicose veins around the anal margin increase the abdominal pressure when squatting, and increase during defecation. Symptoms can be reduced to varying degrees after returning to a normal position. Internal hemorrhoids: occur above the dentate line, so that blood is the main symptom. According to the situation of hemorrhoid prolapse, it is divided into three stages: No prolapse in one stage. The second phase can be repaid by itself.
