Irregular diet is often a factor in the occurrence of anorectal diseases, so paying attention to diet regulation can prevent and treat anorectal diseases. Patients with anorectal diseases are common in damp-heat type, qi deficiency type, and yin deficiency type.
Damp heat type:
Mostly due to congenital endowment, or living in the wetland for a long time, feeling dampness, eating fatty meat or drinking for a long time, dampness accumulating in the body, depressing heat, accumulating dampness and heat, and pressing down the anorectal. Clinically, there may be symptoms such as blood in the stool, pus and blood in the stool, swelling and pain, swelling, incarceration of internal hemorrhoids, pus, and itching. Suitable: light, invigorating the spleen and dampness, such as: millet, japonica rice, corn, oats, buckwheat, red bean, pork, fish with scales, etc.;
Or moisturizing and purging fire fruits and vegetables, such as: mung bean, water spinach, amaranth, celery, cucumber, winter melon, lotus root joint, dragon fruit, watermelon, pear, fig, etc.
Avoid: Don't eat spicy and hot foods, such as beef, lamb, fried, barbecued foods.
Qi deficiency type
Most of them are elderly and chronically ill patients. Normally fatigued, pale yellow or white complexion, pale lips. Clinically, there may be bleeding in the stool, diarrhea, mucus in the stool, constipation, bulging, and insufficiency of hemorrhoids. It is common in stage 2 and 3 hemorrhoids, rectal polyps, rectal prolapse, malignant tumors of the large intestine, and anal fistula.
Appropriate: sweet in taste, warm in nature, invigorating qi and invigorating the spleen as well as waking up the spleen and promoting qi, such as pork, eggs, rabbit meat, fish with scales, yam, etc.
Or foods that have a laxative function, such as lotus root, lily, walnut, almond, sesame, sweet potato, etc.;
Or qi fruit, such as longan, litchi, jujube, etc.
Avoid: foods with gas consumption, such as betel nut, water spinach, raw radish, etc.
Yin deficiency type
Mostly manifested as long and thin body, flushing complexion, five upset and hot, dry mouth and throat, irritability. Clinically, there may be symptoms such as dry stool, pain in the anal mouth, blood in the stool, pus and blood, and swelling. It is common in hemorrhoids, anal fissures, anal fistulas, enteritis, anal papilloma, anal sinusitis, and malignant tumors of the large intestine.
Suitable: sweet and moisturizing food, such as: pork, rabbit meat, turtle, lotus root, mung beans, tomatoes, radishes, carrots, asparagus, wax gourd, loofah, bitter gourd, fungus;
Or nourishing yin fruits, such as pears, apples, bananas, orange figs, mulberries and other foods.
Avoid: spicy, warm heat loss of yin and fluid and heat-generating products such as dog meat, lamb, rooster, etc. For the seasoning, ginger, onion, garlic, pepper, pepper, etc. should be used as little as possible. Avoid frying, roasting, sautéing, and roasting in cooking. It is better to stew and steam the dishes.
