Hemorrhoids are the most common anorectal disease. There are folks who say "ten men and nine hemorrhoids" and "ten women and ten hemorrhoids". I now summarize its common causes and symptoms as follows:
Hemorrhoids are caused by long-term constipation or diarrhea, long-term drinking, eating a lot of irritating food, sitting for a long time, women pregnant and giving birth to children, etc., leading to congestion, expansion and flexion of the venous plexus under the mucosa of the rectum and under the skin of the anal canal. group. It is also believed that hemorrhoids are caused by the proliferation of the anal cushion, that is, hemorrhoids are originally the normal anatomical structure of the anal canal, that is, the vascular cushion, which is a dentate line and a 1.5cm circular spongy tissue band. Only when the anal cushion tissue has moved down and proliferated with symptoms, it can be called hemorrhoids. Hemorrhoids are divided into internal hemorrhoids, external hemorrhoids and mixed hemorrhoids by the line of teeth.
Common symptoms of hemorrhoids: ① Blood in the stool: internal hemorrhoids in the stool are painless, intermittent, bloody after the stool, dripping or spurting blood in the stool or blood on the toilet paper, constipation, drinking alcohol or eating irritating foods are aggravated. ②Prolapse: The internal hemorrhoids have no pain but a sense of swelling, and gradually develop to prolapse, combined with thrombosis, incarceration, and pain, itching, and sticky secretions when infected. ③ Swelling: External hemorrhoids usually have no special symptoms, and swelling and pain may occur when thrombosis and inflammation occur.
Internal hemorrhoids are usually divided into 4 degrees:
Ⅰ degree Bleeding during defecation, bleeding can stop automatically after defecation, and hemorrhoids will not come out of the anus;
Degree II often has blood in the stool, prolapses from the anus during defecation, and automatically repays it after defecation;
Ⅲ degree Hemorrhoids need hand assistance after prolapse;
Degree IV Hemorrhoids are outside the anus for a long time and cannot be repaid;
Among them, the internal hemorrhoids above grade II often form mixed hemorrhoids, and the symptoms of internal hemorrhoids and external hemorrhoids coexist.
